Kerry wasn’t really looking for anyone at the time. Her focus was on caring for her grandmother, who was sick, and she was hesitant about going out with anyone new. Her cousin Stephanie was the one who told them about each other, and soon after, Jeffrey reached out to Kerry on Facebook. Their first date was supposed to be at Peter Allen Inn, but the day before, Jeffrey had an extra ticket to FundFest in Sharon and invited her to meet him there instead. They’ve been together ever since.
As they got to know each other, Kerry and Jeffrey discovered they had many mutual connections—Jeffrey had graduated with Kerry’s brother-in-law and had worked for her cousins Gene and Tweet. Despite those ties, their paths had never crossed until that moment. Jeffrey also knew Kerry’s uncle and grandfather, who have since passed away. Kerry believes they sent Jeffrey to her, knowing what an amazing man he is. She was very close to her grandmother, whose health was declining at the time, and she feels that her loved ones didn’t want her to feel alone.
Kerry and Jeffrey enjoy biking, taking walks, spending time with family, and playing games and cards together. Recently, they welcomed a golden retriever puppy named Hudson, born on December 8, 2024. Jeffrey has two adult children, Megan and Sean, and Kerry is excited to become their stepmom. Though she doesn’t have children of her own, she loves them as if they were, and they all share a wonderful relationship.
