Emily + Scott

They actually met over 10 years ago. 

They both attended West Middlesex Jr- Sr. High School. Scott was in 9th grade, and Emily was in 7th. They would occasionally pass each other in the hall, or hang out in similar friend groups. Emily remembers a time when Scott and her hung out at the baseball field in town, and he never asked her to hang out again. He doesn't remember this memory, but swears if he did it was because "he wasn't ready for her yet". 

They met again in 2019. Emily saw Scott pop up on her phone as she was swiping through Bumble. She swiped right, to see if he did first, and to her surprise, they matched! She messaged him and said "Long time no see" and they quickly exchanged phone numbers. Their first date was meeting up at Buhl Park, and walking the park. They met at a bench near the Casino, and sat and talked for a few hours. There was never really a moment where they established being boyfriend/girlfriend. They just started hanging out that one day and never stopped. Scott will tell you that he knew Emily was the one when they were at a friends wedding. A group was talking about where their dream proposal would be, and he instantly thought of proposing to Emily at the bench in the park where they had their first date. 3 .5 years later, he proposed in that exact spot. 

Emily will tell you there was never one specific moment where she knew he was the one, instead a million little moments where she knew she had found her best friend and greatest love. They love exploring new towns together, getting lost, and finding new ways home. The enjoy going for walks, whether that be outside or at the nearest TJ Maxx. They don't have any kids or pets, but can't wait to have both in the near future!
